Ha! Love the grin. As for the math, it's almost right. That square root of two in the upper right should be a 3. And for emphasis, you should underline twice! :)

I think the concept is wonderful, but you lost a little impact because the left side of the image fades into the background. Try either shining light on the background so it's brighter than the pure black subject or have a light behind you shining forward so you get a halo on your hair. Heh - do I sound like I know what I'm talking about with lighting? THAT'll be the day. :)

Great, intense facial expression. Your model's arm looks like it's missing a chunk on the right (I know, the things that distract people can be strange). Also, something about how the skin is blurred on the arms makes it look like plastic to me.
