 Alternate title "Builder of Dreams"
Used one softbox to light 3 pairs of boots.
No Crop - Basic adjustments in light room - Used 2 color overlay layers in CS3 to add "a tone/feel", a little dodge and burn, a light blur + a layer mask to soften some and highlight the front pair of boots, final brightness/contrast adj, add boarder, and resize.

Hoping for a 6+ score and/or top 20 finish

ETA and I got it! A second best score for me. Thx for the comments and votes.

And sorry folks I dont fix em I break em. These are just my old work boots

I love the textures here. Hey, if you can fix the toes on these puppies I'm sure you can fix my fave pair of paddock boots!

Not sure what this occupation is but its an interesting shot. I like the contrast of the dirty worn shoes withe the clean flat mirror.

Scott you should really get rid of your old boots, it makes more room for your wife to keep her shoes:)

Now that I put my self out there, I sure hope this is Scott.

This works well for this challenge and I like your use of the glass and the DoF. Great shot.

I find this to be a very emotive image. I love the textures and tones, and the title made me pause, and look again. A quiet achiever! Good Luck!

Lighting seems a bit too bright for a *worn* type of photo but nice DOF
