Broken Bridgeby Ja-9Comment: This is great. The colors and composition are perfect. My only criticism would be the strands coming off the right side of the bridge have a sharpening halo. Good stuff. |

The Pretty Little Stinkerby mgsmith53Comment: I suppose it's fitting that our little stinkers finished together. It's great that you also have a teeny tiny little stinker in your shot too. |

within the faerie circleby charliebakerComment: I really, really like this. Even before reading the title, I knew what I was looking at. You've managed to capture the element of human isolation and the feeling of power radiating within the circle. Well done, and very creative. |

portby tph1Comment: As much as I love the idea of this, I think it could have been a little better with a slightly faster shutter speed. Without the challenge topic one wouldn't know that there was a person on the chair. I would have liked to see a bit more of the silhouette. |

Lady Rollissima's Wonderland by gyabanComment: This is by far the most interesting to look at. You did a great job concealing your lines, though I'm sure you wish it were Advanced editing. I really only noticed, because it's such an interesting photo and I spent so much time looking at it. A non-photographer probably wouldn't even notice the lines. |

The stars twinkle in eternal silence...by DrAchooComment: Well, that can only be one place; Dee Wright Observatory up-top ol' 242. I've driven through there at night years ago, but that was before I was really a photographer so I didn't think of stopping. Actually the last time I was there it was sunny and warm down in the Willamette valley and a blizzard up top. I'll never forget fighting the howling winds to hold the bathroom door closed. Oh, and the freezing updraft on my toosh. Ahh, good times.
I don't recall seeing any lights mounted in the observatory, so I assume you popped a flash or lantern of some sort in there? That was a nice touch. Other than the blizzard day every time I've been there it's been perfectly blue skies. Nice, but very boring to photograph. A night shot was a great idea. |
