A Seascaper by CuttoothComment: Do you ever have problems with your tripod sinking in the sand as the tide strolls in and out? That's a problem I've had in the past when shooting from the water. |

Dew On The Lilyby JakeKurdsjukComment: Lilies are surprisingly difficult to shoot, so I'm always looking for new ideas. I like this composition choice; looks like an alien ship landing. |

Glorious Greenby ReveccaComment: Ouch, I gave you a 2! I might have been more forgiving now-a-days, but not by much. ;) |

IMG_1215_webby FromDaRockComment: I'll go out on a limb and say that this coach might know what she's doing, or at the very least, she tries hard. The muscle definition is incredible. I'm with you on this being a keeper. Matt knows what the newspapers want, so in that regard it might not be a keeper for the industry. But for personal and general internet use, it works. Sure, there's a lot of stuff that could be improved, like the background stuff, etc, but the point came across; that woman is ripped... i r jealous. |

Mona Lisa Smileby LydiaComment: This would make a great "How'd they do that?" tutorial, Lydia. The physics of the iris staying somewhat in focus blew my mind while this was in voting. I even clicked the link to ask the SC how the heck you did that. Glad the image passed their tests. |

Strike a Poseby Jackson_HComment: This is an excellent photo. I really appreciate the subtlety of the colors and lighting.
I'm surprised to see it finish so low, but I can only assume people aren't enamored with birdy eyes like they are mammal eyes. It's also quite difficult to tell the age. These little guys look like they're about ready to leave the nest, and don't really have the characteristics one would expect from a "baby" bird. I trust ya though! |
