Zoo ad (outtake)by TammsterComment: The green doesn't dominate this version with the richer orange. Maybe it was the orange being a little washed out that was letting the green dominate. Those little white hairs you took out of the orange patches didn't bother me until you took them out. Now when I look at the original I want to clone them out too, heh. Good call! |

screws-and-washers.jpgby browda1Comment: Just the fact that you mentioned that they're eyeglass screws changes my whole opinion of the shot. Thems be tiny little screws! |

Bee of the Cosmosby Pug-HComment: Jac stole my line. One thing that always gets me is the patterns of insect eyes. Love the wings too. |

screws-and-washers.jpgby browda1Comment: I try not to be too critical in side challenges, because most people are experimenting with new techniques. Was there something specific you were trying to accomplish here?
With macros lighting is something people usually tend to explore. What kind of lighting were you using? I agree that the lighting for this is harsh and doesn't seem to add to the scene. If you mention in your comments what you were trying to do others will help you create that. Ask us, we will answer!
