It's never too early to start teaching them to be responsible with money (including sharing it with others). You've captured a nice moment here. I love the piggy bank cast aside for the important task at hand. Also, the pencil and notebook belie that some other endeavor was previously underfoot but is now quickly forgotten.

day 11. feb 08 slice of life. motorway

What I like most about this, roz, is that it's a slice of life we all experience. We all have 'motorways' and trucks and overpasses in our lives on a daily basis - even more so than nature and wildlife which we must go out of our way to experience. And, this reminds me once again that I must keep my eyes open at all times - not just when the view is pleasing or interesting to the photographer in me. Thanks for the reminder.
