Frozen mixed veg

Greetings Mark. I take it you have a liking for frozen veges, seeing it's your second "frozen vege" submission :-) It's a very simple photo, but somehow you have managed to make it more than just a photo of some frozen veges. You have also brought some charachter into this image, like I can almost feel the coldness coming off that frost, and although I hate frozen veges myself you've almost got me wanting some now.

There isn't really much to comment on this photo because, like I already said, it is a such simple shot and there isn't too much you can do wrong with it. The lighting is good as well as the detail. You might have tweaked the saturation levels a little, or maybe put a few more pieces of corn into the image to break the greens and oranges more. But that is only me trying to pick on something somewhere. It is a good pic and I bet you didn't take too many shots to get the right one correct?

The way you have framed the blue clear sky with angry stormy clouds makes this a top photo. Looks like an eye. Maybe "Eye of the Storm" could also have been a good title.

This shot would have done very well in the fauna challenge!! Even a ribbon winner for sure, but that's life huh? Anyway it is an excellent image, well cropped and the shallow DOF does wonders for it.

Awesome texture! This would have been even better if the bottom left and top right corner had been full in focus as well. Good idea though and of course it meets the challenge.

I would have prefered to see this without a border or at least with a border of neutral color. The composition is good with the trees flowing into the image. The contrast of silohuetted trees against a crisp blue sky is very effective.
