Greetings from the Critique Club
This image meets the challenge of weather without any doubt. I like that I can actually see the rain, and the movement of the person establishes that he is moving fast to get to a dry spot, probably his car. He is in a good place in the composition, since he has plenty of space ahead of him for movement. That's good!
The foreground shows some bike handle bars. They are distracting and don't really help the image any. They could easily be cropped out.
The cars don't contribute much to the artistic elements of this picture. A fence or trees would have been more appealing, to me.
The greenery that IS in the picture adds lovely color.
I hope to see more of your work here on DPC. Keep shooting! :-)
Regards,
Grayce |

Now that's a rainstorm! :) Shot would be improved, in my opinion, if the shot did not include the objects in the foreground (motorbikes?). |

quite a rain storm. Good show of motion and the rain, the right side is underexposed too much |

I like that one very much because it acctually depicts rain and is not set up artificially. The falling raindrops are percect and the blurred person fits very well. Only the bikes in front disturbe a little. good luck to you |

Great idea, and poor sucker. I think I would like to see this with you following the subject for sharp focus and getting a motion blurred background. Would show more of an urgency to get to cover, in my opinion. |

This certainly captures rain well. The bikes in the foreground are a bit intrusive, but unavoidable in conditions like this. |

great weather! I'd have liked more of the guy being soaked by the rain though, just to give the picture more of a personality. |

Interesting. I think it would look better if you could have used a faster shutter speed, but lighting conditions probably didn't allow it. Also I think it is too dark on the right. |

Great shot, it's clear it's a downpour. Kid running by is a nice touch. 8. |

Nice capture of the falling rain. Too bad that the car had to be there. Would have made for a more eye pleasing background. Maybe could have cropped out the whole right side of the picture. The rain is the most visible on the left where the child is anyway. |
