Day 6: Happy Vacation!by Blue MoonComment: I lke the lighting, really pulls her out from a busy background. She looks pretty tired and pensive here, I'm curious about your conversion. Getting skin tones right is tough, especially with alot of highlights and shadows - did you convert with channels, looks like cause there is quite a bit of pigment in her face and chest.

Day10.jpgby edmengComment: Wow, I really like this, it is really cool to see your shadow taking the picture it really gives the picture a sense of moment rather than a static shot, great contrasts and shapes. Outstanding!

DAY 9. B&W. to my mum ...by rozComment: sorry to hear about your mother, these are beautiful shots and I'm sure the flowers themselves were specatcular. What I really like most are the multiple soft, sweeping curves, repeated through out all three images, with the brightest area for the two outside pictures being the center of the image, the main subject. This is contrasted with the very bright background of the second image and made even harsher with the straight hard transition between the first and second (reading from L to R)That doesn't work too well for me, this might even work better as a dyptich with just the first and third. Regardless, all three images are fantastic shots and work really well in b&w.

9by mia67Comment: I really like the compostion, the curves and tones. There is some dust, etc on the R that is distracting, and I'm not too sure aabout the shadowns, perhaps either more or less but they look a bit too cut off here.
Nie job, good subject for b&w.

theatreby bucketComment: The bottom of the picture where the woman and child are is fantastic but hard to see due to the bright and high contrast of the rest of the picture. I'd consider cropping down to that, from just R of the air conditioner (?) and up to the horizontal line - I think that's where the real picture is.

Giselleby MarioAngelComment: Really like this - beautiful lighting, great moment, nice and close and she looks very calm and secure. I really like the nice soft detail in her face with enough contrast not to look flat. My only suggestion is to sharpen around her eyes and perhaps her hair (duplicate layer, sharpen, mask out all but her eyes and some of the hair)
Great shot, really beautiful.

Riding Homeby MarioAngelComment: Nice and grainy - not surprising given the iso. I see your at 1/15 sec and still really didn't get much blur, you may want to think about adding a bit in PS which would make this a bit more dramatic. I'd also think about making the blacks darker (ie the sky) and finally I would either clone or crop the light at the top of the photo.
