Very cool idea! I love the composition but I find the colors to be a bit off (at least it looks so on my monitor). I would have also taken the ring off -- it is a bit distracting.

Your light is a bit too harsh here. I would have liked to see the flower at a different angle -- the curled up petals in the foreground are a bit distracting. You background is a bit spotty and does not look white on my monitor, maybe a colored background would have helped this a bit. I would have liked the flower to be surrounded by the pencils (it looks like it is placed behind them) for the "vase" effect. Interesting idea, though.

I don't quite get this --- if you are going for a cigarette feel, I would have added some smoke coming out of the pencil. A bit more contrast would have helped too (the image is a bit flat)and would have made those darks stand out more.

Really cool. Love the high contrast and b&w conversion. I would have liked to see the same sharp edge of the white background on the right as it is on the left. I am not too got about that gray triangle on the left but love the graphic quality of the image. Well done.

This is a great portrait -- the light and focus on her face are amazing! I love the idea - very, very creative! I am not too hot about this thing on her neck, it competes a bit with the pencil vest in my opinion.

Fun, fun, fun! I like the tight crop but not sure where the focus went -- the photo looks quite soft for me. The abckground is a bit distracting as well as the tray on his right and the dirty table. Looks like you have fun, though! :)
