The point is, There is a pencil, but it isn't crossed. The faith and belief is, although the pencil is not crossed, the shadow is...

yep, you have more or less summed it. The idea was to show that faith is powerful thing, we could see God in smallest thing like shadow, we just need to believe.

Really cool. Love the high contrast and b&w conversion. I would have liked to see the same sharp edge of the white background on the right as it is on the left. I am not too got about that gray triangle on the left but love the graphic quality of the image. Well done.

I have this rated as my highest entry for the challenge although somehow I doubt it will score well :) I love the stark B/W and it really meets the challenge well. I don't like the weird looking triangle on the left side that is grey though as it really upsets the balance of the photo.

The idea is good, the border is to thick IMHO and the triangle thing on the left is very distracting and could easily have been cropped out.

Interesting image. The light is so blown it almost appears to be an illustration instead of a photo to me. The grey area on the left is distracting and seems like it doesn't belong.

Captivating. Makes you stop and think about the photo. Well done.

whoa...this is quite trippy! but I really love it! and love the message as well :-) so true it is! I do kind of wish I could see more of the statue of the child, but maybe that was your idea--to only really focus on the shadows? GREAT PHOTO! super creative!

I think the high key is a little over done...

Whites are way too harsh. But very abstract.

Hmmmmm, not sure about this 1, different from other entries I gotta admit but I'm not too sure if it works for me, its overexposed alot, to concentrate on the shadows (possibly?) but maybe its too much... i think it would've done better without all of that black/grey spaces on the right and left corner parts of the pic. More of a close up =/ don't know if i made any sense

OK. How'dja do that? Is the grey triangle on the left part of the shadow-making? 9
