Remembering Vietnam ...by AnAUTigerComment: A very evocative place. You've captured it well, but everything from the small flag to the R edge of the frame could be cropped to strengthen the image. Personally, I'd lose the girl looking the "wrong" way, too. |

April in May by connieComment: Beautifully done. The high-key falls apart a little inthe ULHC - maybe a reflector would have helped with the shadows behind that strand of hair and on her neck. Biggest little nit is that you've lost half a finger to overexposure. High marks from me. |

Disappointmentby arnitComment: So good... Great contrast and detail, and the composition works for me. Digging for nits, I do notice that the skin on his face has picked up some digital blech, and some shadow detail is missing. A little positive gamma and punch up the darks a little to keep the contrast and it would be perfect. Congrats! |

Leavingby GordonComment: A strong image, but I think it would be stronger if the floor tiles were lined up in the frame. The composition, while non-traditional, is good, but I think you could get the same effect with 1/3 less negative space. A faster shutter to freeze the man would be my personal preference. |

Three sailorsby JonniboyComment: Beautiful blues, and well composed. I wonder how it would look if you'd shot from farther to the right so that the railing was straight, but this works too. |

Dragon Boat Raceby BAMartinComment: Isn't Dragon Boat Festival next month? I guess this is practice. Interesting, but doesn't really grab the eye - too many distractions. |

Miseryby censuraComment: Damn... I was going to shoot my TV for this week. Good stuff here, and the subtitle is a nice addition. Could be interpreted as breaking the "artwork may not constitute the whole of the image" rule, but balls to that. |

Yosemite Diehardsby debcardComment: That red umbrella was a stroke of luck, eh? Not to mention catching Obi Wan on vacation. I always wonder when shooting other photogs; is it incest or cannibalism? Congrats on a beautiful image. |

Traditional Costumeby fsieradzkiComment: Beautiful girl, great colors and clarity. I don't know if the fill flash was necessary (can't tell what the lighing conditions were), but I'd have moved her a little farther from the bg to minimize the shadows and get those horizontal lines out of the field of focus. The one running through her neck is a no-no (according to the "rules"). That said, one of the best this round. |

Un/Controlled Aggressionby DogmanComment: What's lacking in the technicals is made up in impact. Were you wearing your cat suit? Zoomed out just a little to include the dog's paws would be better, but I imagine it's hard to think straight in this situation. Very good. |
