taking a pic of your tv is one way to avoid shooting real life people ; )

Damn... I was going to shoot my TV for this week. Good stuff here, and the subtitle is a nice addition. Could be interpreted as breaking the "artwork may not constitute the whole of the image" rule, but balls to that.

Her face jumps out and touches your heart.

I am sorry, I just don't like this picture. It's not the texture screen, I use them too, it must be the lettering.
05/30/2002 01:17:00 AM
is that portuguese?
05/29/2002 05:07:00 PM
TV or Monitor? Nice...

I'm going with the texture is supposed to be in this. That and the text just don't do "it" for me. The tear placement combined with the texture makes it appear that it's more of a growth or something and less tear like. I like the coloring and the lighting, but it's that damn texture I think that makes it look so 'hard', sorry.

Nicely caught, though the bottom black line could've been cropped out. Is she cross-eyed?

Is this a photo of a TV screen? I think it is. Photo __ Creativity ?? People 4 total 1 - Sorry for the low score, it's just my honest opinion.

Even though this is a picture of a movie screen (for this challenge, I think one of live people, well you know what I mean, would be better), it is very nice. The graininess of the screen adds to it. Also like the subtilte - "Why?" I think...that's what it is in French anyway.

The tv-pixelly quality is really interesting. I like that big fat fake-looking teaer about to roll down her face, too. Good idea!
05/28/2002 12:27:00 PM
What is the unusual texture here?
05/28/2002 11:16:00 AM
but why?
05/28/2002 09:48:00 AM
I like this. It's a very interesting idea.

Even though I speak Spanish, this picture would have had a stronger impact for me without the word. It would probably be even truer for people who don't know what it means.
05/27/2002 07:32:00 PM
What is this, just a picture of something on TV?
05/27/2002 04:14:00 PM
Why? Is this from a tv? >billboard? I just wondered because of the texture. Emotional shot and I like the b&w. Well done.
05/27/2002 02:28:00 PM
isn't this a commercial.. I can't remember what the products is though.
05/27/2002 12:50:00 PM
This looks like a photo of another photo.
05/27/2002 09:45:00 AM

is that a picture of a tv screen?
05/27/2002 08:39:00 AM
"Why" is right.
05/27/2002 07:25:00 AM
porquê the "porquê", especially overlapping the chin? the expression ought to be enough!
05/27/2002 05:12:00 AM
Emotive. B & W works well. I don't know if it was meant to look Grainy, but I really think it works. I like it because it speaks to me, There is a message. Well done.
05/27/2002 01:08:00 AM
This looks like it was lifted off a TV screen. If that's the effect you wanted then it's quite good.
05/27/2002 12:49:00 AM
Is this a photo of a tv screen? I'm not voting for DQ but I don't particularly care for this idea... I score creativity highly...
05/27/2002 12:24:00 AM
The spanish channel rocks!
05/27/2002 10:45:00 AM
Is this just a shot of a TV? Its a wonderful picture but I would have prefered if you would have set it up rather than some director.
