Bases Unloadedby bcpollmeierComment: My only nitpick is a bit of "noise". I use a handy little free program called "noiseware", if you're interested :) |

The 19th Holeby SycoPhantComment: Wonderful, rich colours, and extra interest added by the fall leaves and clouds. Personally, I'd have tried a bit tighter crop to remove the branch and pole on the left and a bit of the brightest sky, and maybe just TO the lone tree at right to balance the changes? JMO, of course :) |

Lets celebrate my victoryby SimpaComment: Nice rich lighting, great still life, but sadly DNMC for me, as I fail to see any sporting venue, or even the suggestion of one. |

Old Schoolby gocComment: Love the lighting and the rich hues. This is a subtle shot that doesn't hit with a "WOW" in the typical 2-second-view-per-vote but has much to offer those who take longer and SEE. |

Way outby lambie83Comment: Very striking contrasts and effective use of shallow DOF. |

'Til Next Sundayby ElaineComment: I have a thing for repeating patterns, personally :) The reflections off the top of the distant chairs reminds me of waves. This does have major lighting problems, and if you'd like to post it in a thread after the challenge I'm sure those with more skill than I could give you some very helpful advice. :) |

Echoes Of Today's Chant Still Linger O -- H -- I -- Oby ElliottjmsComment: My eye first is grabbed by the "O" but then moves to the top, drawn by the light, and travels slowly down to the gate, where I find myself carried through, where I imagine I would find the expanse of stadium opening before me. It's a shot that looks good at first glance but is so much better when time is taken to absorb and feel all the nuances. |
