California Reflectionsby byetkoComment: Holy cow - yes, this one's a winner. The composition is lovely and your exposure was perfect. I'd give it a 10 if I could, but since I can't, I'll add it to my list of favorites. :) |

The Upstairs Maidby jodiecostonComment: Yes, I will be offering prints of this... Probably in about a week when I have time to upload the full size file to dpcprints. Thank you to all of those who liked it - it's one of my favorite challenge entries that I've had in a long time. |

Emma G. Nationby autoolComment: I'm surprised that this didn't score better, also. It's gorgeous. You got hung up in the "strict challenge criteria" net. Still a beautiful and wonderfully creative shot. |

Ice Cavernby KonadorComment: Whoa. This one blew me away. Beautiful saturated blues, great composition, nice tonal arrangement. Definitely feels "cold". 10 |

How Do You Suppose That Got There?by jodiecostonComment: I was surprised at how many people thought this was edited... I had to check my e-mail every day, waiting for the admins to ask me for the original so I didn't get disqualified. It never occurred to me that people wouldn't look close enough to see the bricks painted black. :) Glad to hear that I really did leave some "unanswered questions"! |

. . . About me?by dsidwellComment: Didn't get a chance to comment during the challenge, but I thought this was wonderful, not only for the fabulous tones and detail (you can see every strand of their hair, even...) but also for the feelings it provokes. Really took me back to those old days of high school. :) I gave it a 9. Fabulous. |

Raptureby KarenBComment: I love everything about this, except for the colored earring... Somehow, I personally find it distracting (perhaps it's just me, I don't find the colored garment distracting in any way...) Lovely tones, great use of the blown-out white background. |

Sun baskerby kiwinessComment: The tones and lighting in this shot are just beautiful, as is your dof separating the model from the background. Beautiful detail in her hair, and it's nice to see a head attached to a body. I'd love to see more from this session - this pose feels a bit uncomfortable to me, as if she's a bit too tense while leaning back. (I want to reach my hand out for her to lean on so she can relax. Possibly something I'm reading into it that isn't there - only a minor nit-pick.) Other than that, you've got the tones down perfectly and the composition perfect, as well as a gorgeous model. |
