Air Timeby MarkComment: LOL! Great idea. Could be sharper though, but I can imagine that you worked hard to get this image as good as it is. Good luck to you. |

Waiting for Green...by XarthanComment: Great topic, only regarding the image quality it could be improved, especially regarding the sharpnes. Still it gives a nice feeling of beeing very real. good luck |

Clipper Flying Cloudby DJLubaComment: Great subject and very well made: I like the sharpness, light and cropping. Also the frame works very well. The overexposed parts at the engine work also very well: one wants to close the eyes because they are so bright. Gives me a feeling as if I am standing in front of this great plane.
It's probably a winner, at least in my eyes. Good luck |

Underground Trainby melongrindComment: A very strong entry with a great red color. I like that it is in parts overexposed. The lack of sharpeness disturbes a little, but not to much: I can feel the train shaking. The pose of the girl and the way she looks fit well to. Good job and good luck. |

Zero Horsepowerby TooCoolComment: Great submission, although it's cropped a little tight at the top. I like the curved road, the reflexions on it, als well as the great background of the silo with its periodic structures. Sapia work very well too and the frame is OK. Good luck to you (9) |

Sleeping wheelbarrowsby unicumComment: Great composition, greatly executed: I like that B&W was chosen, the angle of view, that the DOF is large. Also the background looks great, because it gives the image a "past-time"-feeling. Only the bright upper right corner does not fit well.
To me a winner (10) |

Rickety ric-shawby AntepaterComment: Great secenery, well captured. Due to the rain and the sapia it gives a very special feeling. I do not like the small size and the frame very much, but the cropping is well chosen. One of my very few favorits this week and I give it a 9. good luck to you. |

LIFEby Harz_JoergComment: Thanx for all votes bringing the image on the 10th place. And thanks to all who gave comments and critique.
Actually I'm a little surprised that it ended that high: I didn't like the image very much when I finally submitted it: the background is not what I wanted and I didn't like how the fingers looked (beside bad manicure). But I didn't want to redo it again and again.
It shows a cress-plant hold between my two little fingers. It was a difficult task: I had to press the button of the camera and then, during the 10 s of the self-timer, had to grab the plant with my fingers and place it in the right distance to the camera. Fortunately the G3 has focus bracketing when shooting with manual focus.

zen gardenby fas-ligandComment: Great idea: fits the topic very well and is also well executed. Could be a little brighter in my opinion and also rotated a bit to the left. Otherwise just great. Good luck. |

beginning and endby ursulaComment: Compared to the other sunset images this one is very special: using macro, the non-spherical sunf the unsharp black forground and the color-variation are great. What disturbes is that only one branch is sharp and the right one not. Acctually one branch shoud have been enough. In that case it would have fit even better to the challenge topic. Still, I give it a 7. |
