| well almost. The detail of the seeds, the lighting and the colors in this are exquisite but what is that lump of yellow in the middle? The sun....why is it so mis-shapened. I would have avoided it. I still would have gotten the message about the day ending and the title would not need to be changed. |

| Beautiful colors, simple composition. I couldn't tell if this is a nature shot or a Christmas tree and the yellow with the odd shape is a decoration. If this was nature and that was the sun I wonder why it's not round. Still a nice photo. |

| This is a terrific image. The only fault is the halo around the leftmost end of the main subject. It is otherwise absolutely perfect. |

| Compared to the other sunset images this one is very special: using macro, the non-spherical sunf the unsharp black forground and the color-variation are great. What disturbes is that only one branch is sharp and the right one not. Acctually one branch shoud have been enough. In that case it would have fit even better to the challenge topic. Still, I give it a 7. |

| the title adds to the concept here, which I like. The silhouette is great and adds to the mood of the end which is simultaneously the beginning and vice versa. Good stuff! |

Technical: Most all images submitted fit the challenge. This does very nicely. Exposure composition focus lighting all good.
Personal: Definitely conveys moodiness- not quite enough information here to convey what the subject is, but enough to gain a feeling. And that's enough.
My vote: 7

| Good mix of colors and focus on the main object. Right stem is blurred from a distant object? That blur distracts from the whole. |
