A strange picture, hard to figure out where you're looking from. Wide angle lens explains it. :) The branches against the sky are superb!

Very nice showing of this flower. I like how the focus fades gently to the back petals. I'm not so sure about the centred composition.

Greetings from the Critique Club

This is a beautiful entry to the "Bubbles" challenge, right on the mark as far as meeting the challenge, a fun image.

Positives: The feel, it sells the image. The girl looks like she's enjoying the bath and the bubbles all to pieces, "bliss" is the perfect description for this. The strong, yet gentle approach.

Negatives: It looks overly neat-imaged - too much detail lost. Crop.

Technicals: I see no problems with your exposure, and the conversion to B/W is beautiful. As mentioned above, a bit heavy on the neat-image. There seem to be some sharpening artifacts (slightly distracting).

Presentation: Image and title go together perfectly. B/W is a very good choice for the image. IMO, the image would be stronger if it were cropped a bit tighter on the right side, that is, if about 1/10 - 1/8 of the space at the right hand side of the image (her left shoulder) were cropped off.

I hope this helps. Feel free to contact me if I can be of further help.

~Ursula

Nice B/W. Two tipis and a cross. I'm not sure I like it divided like that right down the middle (half sky, half building), but it is a very interesting subject.

Interesting, quite appealing. Panning in post-processing. What makes this image so strange is that the cat is not moving. Normally in a panning from left to right, the subject would be going left to right, but the cat is still. Makes for a "HUH?!?!" type of reaction. The pose of the cat is fantastic.

What a strange fountain! The background's a bit busy, and blown towards the top, but it would be hard to control light in this situation. Good subject for B/W.
