Day 5

Original Image

edited after some comments:

I was driving down the road and I've always wanted to take a picture of this thing but never had the chance. I rolled down the window and took the shot, sorry it's blury and not that sharp. It was a quick snapshot and I'll take the slap on the wrist.

I hope you were parked for this picture! Very nice job taking out the rails and posts up top. I think it definately helps balance the attention between the two parts of the fountain. Nice contrast, too.

Cool stature and a great choice for black and white. The bottom half looks good. Maybe a crop of just the bottom...? Those fish-like things are interesting.

What a strange fountain! The background's a bit busy, and blown towards the top, but it would be hard to control light in this situation. Good subject for B/W.

Bottom half of photo is great, top half isn't so great. Face of statue isn't in focus and the overexposed sky doesn't help. Take this again when you have more time, I bet it will be a lot better.

Could have benefitted from a tripod for sharpness.

Not much you can do when a sky is flat - SIGH! - damn weather!

A bit soft, but looking at the original, I'd say kudos on making something decent from it.

Works very well in B&W. I like high contrast, just a little too soft focus.
