This Could Have Been Yoursby L2Comment: Wow! Nice, lovely, beautiful. I love the colour of the skin, it looks like a classic painting. The red of lips also. It's just the colour of the tongue that bothers me a bit. Congratulations on a nice piece of art. If I had a cafe-bar, I'd hang this in one of the walls. |

Castle's vine veinsby agenkinComment: I think this photo works better as a memory of a romance, rather than a romance in itself. I imaginge looking at the room where I meet the first love of my life and ... (put cheesy stuff). Now, being old, I come back to this place where love started.
Technically though, I liked the B&W choice, but it's done quite harshly. I suspected that there's something wrong with my monitor, but no: your photo has a cover of purple or violet or whatever the name of this colour is. I guess it would have helped a lot if you waited for the evening, or done it earlier in the morning, to get some better and more diffused light. |

Inspiration lacking Romanceby gianpagComment: A good idea and a good realization.
The B&W is good, the composition is good, the notebook is not good, neither the pen (a feather might have done the trick better). I don't like how spherical the cleched paper looks. I guess adding a figure of Guenevere and Lancelote (or, even better: Don Quixote) might have helped. Maybe...
I liked your sign more... I mean, the photo :-). |

Proposalby GunnsiComment: I think the red is quite nice, but the bright ribbon and the dark glass lack a lot. The ring is lost in the midst of so many things, it's difficult for me to see it. And, once I see it, it doesn't strike me as a ring of proposal. So, I think this photo didn't do much technically, while the story is missing completely.
One observation: at photographer's comments it's mentioned a glass and a wedding ring, but the first thing I see is the ribbon. |
