A good idea and a good realization.
The B&W is good, the composition is good, the notebook is not good, neither the pen (a feather might have done the trick better). I don't like how spherical the cleched paper looks. I guess adding a figure of Guenevere and Lancelote (or, even better: Don Quixote) might have helped. Maybe...
I liked your sign more... I mean, the photo :-). |

Thanks to all who commented this shot.
I saw that a lot of people considered this shot a bit off-topic.
As I usually do, my approach started opening the dictionary and for the word Romance I got:
====- romance -===============================================
n. love affair, amour; tall tale, tale filled with exaggeration; narrative or poem about chivalry and/or heroic adventures (esp. from the Middle Ages)
v. have a love affair with; tell stories filled with exaggeration, tell tall tales
================================================================
So I tried to represent the creation process of a Romance and as bakerb72 said maybe it should have been "Romance lacking inspiration" :)

| I like your idea of writing + inspiration +/- romance. However, the image looks too much like homework to me, which, while representing the unromantic, is not inspiring. Maybe I'm just missing something, or misinterpreting your title. Hope you'll explain about your vision post-challenge :) |
