man under tree- IRby danica22Comment: I Like the composition but the image feels a little soft to me and as you have mentioned there is a kind of hazy cirlce which is quite distracting. I am sure someone here will be able to tell you how to do something about it :o) |

the stareby danica22Comment: The position of the model in the frame is nice in this shot. I like the curve of the lower back leading you up along the body. Also like the lighting on the face and back but would like to see a little more detail round towards his chest(MHO) I do like the processing you have done here :o) |

See It Throughby posthumousComment: A good abstract, I like the focus on the leaf but find the red petal? a little overpowering. Also there is a a light colours area around the stork of the leaf, is this editing or just the way the B/G was? :o) |

birdby posthumousComment: Lovely words Don. As far as the picture goes I would possibly have cropped about half an inch off the left handside to get rid of the bottom left han dcorner which for me is a little busy. Other than that the image appears to suit the poem and in thus serves its purpose. |

Rachealby igoofryComment: I saved this one till last because I really like it, but, there are few little things that bug me. First I would like Racheals head to be facing slightly more towards the camera, at the moment she feels as though she is looking a little too much out of the frame (MHO). I would also prefer to see her arms fully in the frame, how you would have done this and kept the lovely dress in the shot I am not sure. I do like the movement in her hair and the lighting doesnt seem too harsh here :o) |

Brookeby igoofryComment: Nice DOF and for someone who didnt want their picturing taking you have made a good job capturing a little smile here. As you say the middle of the day hasn't helped you with retaining detail on the top of her hair but apart from that this is nice. Now if she'd just looked at the camera for a moment this would have gone from nice to fantastic (MHO) :o) |

Rachealby igoofryComment: I like Rachaels 'pose' and feel you have placed her nicely in the frame. I am not too sure about the lighting, although it seems a little dull in the sky there is some brightness to her shoulder that is a little distracting (MHO) |

Carolineby igoofryComment: Great candid shot, I like the DOF and you've captured her nice smile. If I was being picky the only slight annoying thing is her arm leaving the frame at the bottom. Other than that I like ite :o) |

Flaming good catch!by Ecce_SignumComment: Glad you gave up on setting light to yourself (for now). I like the movement of the flame and the position of the arm in the frame is good. I might have to agree that the lighting is a little harsh on the arm and detracts slightly from the flame but still a good idea :o) |

Debbieby kawesttexComment: Portraiture isn't an area I know a lot about but will do my best to comment. I think you have placed the lady nicely in the frame, the light is nice on her face and hair and because of her colouring and the clothing she is wearing this works well against the black B/G. I would prfer the background not to have any 'kinks' in it as they are a little distracting (MHO). I do like the ladies smile but can't help feeling she looks a little uncomfortable? (MHO) |
