Portraiture isn't an area I know a lot about but will do my best to comment. I think you have placed the lady nicely in the frame, the light is nice on her face and hair and because of her colouring and the clothing she is wearing this works well against the black B/G. I would prfer the background not to have any 'kinks' in it as they are a little distracting (MHO). I do like the ladies smile but can't help feeling she looks a little uncomfortable? (MHO)
