Hog Heaven (undomesticated homosapien)by SheryllComment: Not voting, just commenting. I have got to hand it to you. You took a real risk of scoring the worst possible score on a nice image, simply because of where you put it. Good luck. |

Unknown waspby GregoryBComment: I like the wasp, but I'm really not a fan of the processing or the frame. You have good focus on the eye, and great detail. That 100 is a fantastic lens. |

2-oct 08 macro. stink bugby rozComment: To me this says still life with an intruder. I can see the fruit photo hanging on someones wall and this little bug trying to get to it because it looks so life like. This is very nice. I'm curious about your scaling process, are you saying that you are taking your photos larger then 100% and then cropping and working them? With the 100M at 1:1 magnification and an extension tube I cant imagine that being nec. But you have peeked my interest. |

9-october 08 macro. bumble beeby rozComment: This has got to be one of the hardest Macro shots to take. Given the magnification of the lens type and the size of the subject. Having an insect in motion and still getting parts of them in sharp detail is actually an art in itself. I really like the sense of motion in this. I look at it and I can almost hear the buzzing in my ears. This is very nice. I do think the yellows are a bit over the top. Not dramatically but just ever so slightly. |

6-october 08 macros. paper waspby rozComment: I really like the perspective of this. I also like the eggs, the angle its shot at, and the detail captured especially in the eyes. I wish the shadow lines were a bit softer, maybe a nice diffuser? Otherwise very nice. |

STANDARDIZATIONby Art RoflmaoComment: This is interesting and has very good lighting allowing shadows for texture(the dust) and nice even lighting in other areas for good detail without blowing the highlights. Very nice. Although the randoms snail in the image might convey USB 1.0 speed for the techies. :D Message edited by author 2008-10-09 14:58:08. |

01 - Orange Bugsby ErikVComment: These are the most disgusting bugs. We get those here late fall. And they are everywhere! nice shot of them and they certainly seem to be crowded around for something. A tad hot in a couple of places but great colors and details. |

_DSC0352.jpgby sulamkComment: This is very nice, I like the fact that there is so much detail in each one. Good sharpness as well. Maybe just a touch of curves to punch the colors a bit. But overall its a great shot. |
