Because it was an open challenge, and cloning is not allowed :-)

What Lies Beneath by crabappl3Comment: Thanks for all the votes and my second yellow ribbon.
I should have mentioned that this is a 30 second exposure. That's what has the water so still. I had originally had a full mirror shot with the light reflecting in the water, when it was suggested to me to crop in so it's just the dock. Thanks to moodville for that suggestion. It worked out well. Too bad I didn't realize the ever so slight tilt to the right ;-)

Janineby KiwiChrisComment: I like the smile and overall relaxed feel of the shot. The one thing I'd suggest is cropping in a little to remove some of the negative space above her, and cropping out the fingers on the lower right. The natural light worked very well for your shot.

Thanksgiving Towerby crabappl3Comment: Yes this was shot in Downtown Dallas at Thanksgiving Square. I wanted to get a reshoot of this with my 12mm lens and dSLR. My other shot was with my Fuji 602 and it couldn't get as wide as I wanted.

Broken of Callaby banmornComment: Dead or broken? Photo seems a little soft overall. B/W conversion is good. -danny |
