I didn't vote on this challenge, but I clicked through all the images. I found this photo to be exceptionally brilliant and assumed it would get slammed for it.

The criticism regarding the harsh lighting is ridiculous, in my opinion. The lighting, the process, the setup are all a distinctive style and work very well together. It's a gutsy (no pun - ha) photo and very well executed. Do not be deterred by the stupid score.
