I love these pictures, where time is different for one person. Suggests something about relativity and special frames of reference (though I think I was dozing during that lecture). It's so thoroughly absorbing, and demands that the viewer take some time to construct a few relationships and timelines.

Seems mortified by someone taking her picture! Almost as though she's asking what the heck you are doing and why HER? Yet, at the same time, not flustered enough to even turn from her more or less, casual pose/resting position. The movement of people to and fro in front of her seems to show others moving about, but her lounging in the moment of either her coffee or piece of pie, unhurried and yet, startled somewhat by someone taking a shot of her while relaxing. It's as though the only thing "hurried" about her is her mind at that moment but, not enough to do anything about it. I like this as it's quite the contrast between main subject and other photo elements.

This has a Twilight Zone intrigue to it--creepily fascinating, like you got caught at something yourself, rather than catching her.

Now this is a bit of quirky goodness. How did she ever manage to catch you through that mess? It took me forever to translate that large nose-looking blob as a swinging hand. Is that a homemade print dress she's wearing? Are we dining? Is that a clock or a porthole.

I like the candid expression on her face but the surroundings are too ambiguous for my tastes. It would have been better had you merely darkened the surroundings instead of allowing them to become an indistinguishable (sp?) blur.

Strangely to me it looks like someone working the "heavy bag" in a restaurant! Sorry but it does not evoke any emotion for me. Interesting composition and shutter speed choice though to make it happen.

great capture. the intentness of her stare turns this into a horror movie. The motion of the other subjects turn them into vast sculptural (semi-transparent) forms. Quite a bizarre image, anchored by that slightly off-center face.

That swinging arm looks so much like a large nose that I'm distracted almost too much to see the rest of the image. But, I'm odd, I know that.

Wizard capture. How life goes morphing by when you just sit and watch. Quite taken with the whitish figure at left: looks like a Staffordshire Bulldog standing tall in his clean recently folded skin. (Might disagree with Bear about the smoothing - it seems to go with the shiny interior locale; possibly I wot not of the "loughs" of Bear).

This is bizarre. I wish it hadn't been smoothed out so much, I strongly suspect I'd totally lough it if it were harsh & grainy; but the Neat Image "look" is offputting to me, it doesn't belong with this image IMO. In every other respect, this is a killer fascinating shot :-)

Please try to hold the camera steady when taking pictures you'll get better results...

The porthole shaped light at left center and the alien emerging from light fixture at the upper right lead me to the staring woman and back again. Triangulation.
I imagine it is fascinating to be her.
