femalecardinal.jpgby icu1965Comment: I don't think I've ever seen (that I know of!) a female cardinal. I like the composition and the angle you got the guy from. |

13 Itsy Bitsy Spiderby SandyPComment: That is one creepy looking spider, and I can appreciate how hard it is to get these shots. If you don't want to spring for a macro lens, check out extension tubes. I've been playing with them for days on my 70-200 and you can get great shots. You have to get fairly close to your subject but with good glass the shots are crystal clear. I got mine for <$100 on Amazon, and the cheap ones work great. |

Aloneby AliciaComment: What a poem, and the shot is fitting. The processing is fantastic here; I'd love to know how you did it. My only nitpick is the left side that's a bit darker, but maybe you wanted it that way. |

Footsiesby JeniYComment: The simplicity along with the muted colors really make this shot. I like how he's wearing slippers and she appears to have dress shoes on, this tells a nice story. It's not a date (and least I would never wear slippers out) so they've known each other for a while, yet they still play. I could be wrong and those are shoes, but it works either way. |

Runningby JutildaComment: The vignette, border, and the tilt just make this a fun shot. |

Sunset.jpgby ScottFrankPhotosComment: I think this turned out quite well, and I really like those colors. As far as the HDR, it looks like you've chosen a difficult angle while shooting almost straight into the sun. I'm guessing that all of your bracketed shots are overexposed in the center, just some more than others. It's a complete guess of course without knowing your settings. Also, there's a bit of haloing around the tree on upper left, which can be caused by several different things. Feel free to PM with any specific questions. |
