I just love that bold, blue, negative space. It could be something in the sky, but it looks like a bit of sensor dust in the blue.

Monkey'ing Around

For me the biggest thing that kept the score low was the exposure on the faces, they just seems a tad harsh to look at it. Also, they seem a bit posed and not natural. Posing subjects isn't bad, but if they are just "Monkey'ing Around" they probably wouldn't be in this position.

Take a look at these and compare side by side to see how the lighting affect the faces.

There's a lot to like here, especially the pose and the b&w scheme you have going no. Agreed with the others on the lighting, and bouncing works great.

That is an incredible bird - it almost looks prehistoric! The processing makes this look like something you'd seen in a museum, and I really like it.
