I love how clearly the snow line can be seen on the mountains. Well composed with the sunlight on the water in the foreground.

I love this, I think with the snowy caps brightened a bit it would have scored really well in Ansel Adams.

What a view with beautiful contrasts. I'm curious what your entry is. I'm with Ken and would also voted this rather high.

This is such a grand landscape, and very good B&W conversion. I would have voted this high for the AA challenge.

PAW - Beautiful shot. The wide format works well here. I don't think it would have scored that well in the AA challenge mainly due to the darkness overall. Maybe the brightness and contrast could have been brought up to compensate. It's difficult to do that when taking sunrise/sunset pictures.

Nice Ansel Adams type shot. Missing light on the mountains but there is of course only so much you can do with the sun in your face.

Nide. I like how the line of the river leads to the mountain.

Very beautiful. I'm not so sure about the call of the wild, though. I think I get more of the fear of the wild from this. As in wild is wild and it's not easy on humans. I guess that means I got a fair bit of feeling out of the picture. No mean feat. :-)

Very pretty in b/w. I feel a bit pulled in to the mountain top where the sun is most bright though.

Wow, what a place. Snowy mountains fascinate me - living in Africa means we hardly ever see snow! I think my life total I could count on one hand!

You certainly aren't curbing my desire to take a trip there.

Very nice like the suns reflection on the water or ice
