Hey, I'm insulted! Not wowed by my post processing? I spent hours and hours trying to convert this to black and white and then save it. You need to recognize! Message edited by author 2008-10-28 19:59:36. |

squirrelby JulieGComment: That's probably the cutest squirrel shot I've ever seen. Like something out of a children's book. |

The Peregrine and the Field Mouse by DrAchooComment: Originally posted by roba: Congrats on the Red, Doc! Love the clarity & DoF on this. Always a risky move with a somewhat "gory" subject matter, but it sure paid off here. Wonderful image :O) |
Jason has probably figured out the trick. It seems the more colorful you make the gore the better it'll do. Take this one for example. That shot makes this Peregrine shot look desaturated. :P |

The Great Tobacco Hornworm Takes His Bowby bs-photosComment: Originally posted by rinac: I wonder why so many people think insects are not animals, let alone wildlife??? In any event, this was one of my top picks, congratulations on a fine finish! |
I don't think many would argue with you in general but this challenge was pretty clear on it if you read the challenge description. Regardless, DPC should just get rid of the descriptions. Nobody reads them anyway. Message edited by author 2008-10-27 01:03:56. |

Yet a water droplet would have been perfect to simulate the sweat from the workout. Probably would have fetched a higher score! Irene must be slipping. :P Message edited by author 2008-10-15 00:49:13. |

Snow White by aimeethetooComment: Originally posted by aimeethetoo: Originally posted by yanko: Is there a reason why you didn't just use the timer? |
Sheesh man...give me some credit! I may be blonde but... : ) I have several reasons for using the plunger...not the least of which was to allow me to stay put rather than continuously resetting myself (under black fabric - getting my hands and mirror right - resticking my cheapo fingernails, etc.). It's not like a simple bubble shot or deer head! ;) |

beyond these wallsby krnodilComment: You certainly captured the feeling of morning here. Kind of like the moment when you eyes are starting to adjust to the light. |
