Going Fishingby sallyjo1Comment: Man, finally a shot I can sink my teeth into. only the second 8+ after, let's see, 162 votes. Sepia was a great choice. The props are excellent and the composition is nice. Personally I would have tried to squeeze just a bit more sharpness out of it, but I fully realize I'm a total sharpness hound and not everybody else has the same feeling. 8 for now, could bump later. |

Simple Inertiaby JPRComment: as a former rower, I loved the "swing" of the boat and the sound of the bubbles rushing along the bottom as your oar was out of the water. A great simple pleasure. If people are voting you low, they just haven't experienced it. ;) Your conversion to B&W is fairly good, but our kayaker is a bit harsh on the lighting. The composition is excellent and the lilypads add interest for sure. 7 |

Jump Ropeby KelseeComment: Man, this shot had real potential. unfortunately that potential is unrealized. The subject is too dark and the focus is quite soft (not in a good way). 5 |

The Road to Hellby BradComment: very nice. I'm just love WA landscapes with dramatic clouds. Maybe because I don't have a WA lens...7 |

Here comes the sun.by zardozComment: Somewhat oversharp, most evident in the rocks. Composition isn't bad, although I'd like to have the hill at top not cut off. 5 |
