as a former rower, I loved the "swing" of the boat and the sound of the bubbles rushing along the bottom as your oar was out of the water. A great simple pleasure. If people are voting you low, they just haven't experienced it. ;) Your conversion to B&W is fairly good, but our kayaker is a bit harsh on the lighting. The composition is excellent and the lilypads add interest for sure. 7

Not bad, I like the idea and the setting is good. With a little more effort you might be able to put the boat in the sweet rule of thirds spot, and further enhance a nice pic.

I love the perspective of this photo. Interesting use of B/W instead of color. It seems to work with this photo. Some may say the contrast is a bit dark but I feel it works well with the picture. Hope this does well.
