Thanks, very interesting, will try it myself when spring arrives here. For now I have a cheap solution to do it ... a manual focus 50 mm lens reversed, or one of my two lensbaby lenses. Working distance will be a key factor here as well. |

dragon flyby take-twoComment: The sharpness is great and it is a beautiful insect, but I don't like the partial desaturation at all here. For me it ruins the picture. Sorry. |

Lightsby hhuddleComment: Quite an average sunset to me. The image lacks sharpness and the bottom 10% of the picture looks almost black and redundant. I know it is not black but is still very dark. (on calibrated screen). It also needs a 1.43 angle clockwise rotation to get the horizon straight. |

Impatient Springby grahamgatorComment: A strong simple still life with beautiful matching props and beautiful light. Gorgeous. I see a signature style. Top 3. |

Illaby epescalaComment: Strong portrait. I like the light and the shadows it creates. It adds to the pensive mood of the image and shows she it not afraid to show her age. The only thing I would change would be to darken the reflection on the chair. Top 3 for me this month. |

Past Prime Plumbing Partsby mluComment: Don't know why but somehow this image works for me. I like its simplicity, the colours, the geometry and even the border. |

Thanks, not really studying anymore, long time ago, now just pretending ;-) Still have an interest in a lot of subjects though, especially science. |

Actually in the afternoon, but in a darkened room. Main light source is an e-reader. Some daylight came in and the image was a bit brighter than shown. The antique plate effect added a vignette effect.
