Practicing for the "painting with light" challenge? The light is beautiful, it enhances the textures, the pineapple stands out great. Something missing in the composition in my view, don't know what, it just does not feel balanced. And the line in the background is a bit too strong, could be more spread and softer. It draws attention and that should not be the case.

I like it how you used the technique to add meaning to the image, rather than just trace a shape or something like that. It also results in a very attractive image. The hart is not too stylized, it is a nice warm red colour, the reflection and colour of the saxophone are beautiful. The touch of blue adds some extra interest. If someone would have been playing it, it would even have been better (currently there is no sound for the lovesong). My choice for the blue.

I assume it fits the challenge (i.e. you have used a handheld moving light source) but there is not much (only the background) in the image that takes advantage of that, i.e. that could not be achieved with a static light source. It does not have a wow factor as result of using this special and powerful technique. That isthe reason for me to score this lower.

Same light brush as the one with the two girls? I like the more regular tracing in this one. A pity about the light patch on the jaw.

That must have been a real dark environment. It must have taken quite some time to fully trace the lines of the BMW. I like the idea and execution, but it does not have a great appeal to me.

I like the more traditional approach. The pictures in the book, the roses, I am wondering about the meaning (which is good in my view, if an image does that). Nice soft spot placed with the light. Maybe a short burst of light very low across the coloured cloth could have added a bit more texture and appeal.
