3 - This has potential, depending what you had to work with, rotating and cropping out the dog toy and then creating an effect of either b&w or sepia in pp (post processing) may have given this an edge. The whites on the dog's face are overexposed, due to (what appears to be) the flash - again, effects in pp may have 'hidden' that.

7 - Pretty awesome scene.. really like how you've captured the 'far ends' and the shadows and light play around there. I like this image also without the 'watcher' - but another image. I don't know if it is just a visual perspective thing, but the ridges in the mountains seem tilted. The only other nit pick, is the fore left green - does add further scale and perspective (not the same as I just mentioned), but perhaps more or none shown, if you had it of course - but your call, obviously. Hope all that makes sense. Like your title too.

3 - I doubt many will stop to analyze this enough to see what it is - if the quality was there, perhaps a rotate and crop to illustrate more what this is (and eliminate the distracting 'splotch') - the inside of a wave.. which is what I like most about it.
