Came across this little guy in my garden. Didn't think much of him but went ahead and started taking some photos. As I am taking photos I am thinking what is up this guy he is starting to look a little funky and then it dawned on me he/she is shedding their ecoskelton. The little guy became more interesting. I shot him/her in various stages of undressing. I thought this phase was the neatest. Tried some various techniques that I recently learned so I hope this does well.

Harry Hopper always was a show-off, but the last laugh was on him when he spent his last years in an electric hopper-chair when his moulting detached prematurely and he plunged 400 inches to the unforgiving ground below.

a great title for a cool image - the outstretch arms really gives me a chuckle here - and the rich greens throughout provides a great living feel to the image

Such a wonderful find! Love the greens at all different tones and levels. The focus is perfect and the way he (or she) is coming out of his old skin gives it a poetic feel. Born again all fresh and new!
