I rarely like 'up the nose' shots...and this one is no exception.

She's beautiful, though... and it's a sweet snapshot.

Great subject, bu the lighting is distracting and very strange.

A very cute scene but there is some very harsh and inconsistent lighting. At 84k in size, your image also has a fair amount of compression. You probably lost a lot of detail to that JPEG compression. Always use the least amount of compression you can get away with and still sneak in under the file size limit for the challenge.

Too much Neat Image(or equavalent to remove noise)? The face have a plastic feeling. Nice photo to save emmories for years. Goos Luck.

3 - This has potential, depending what you had to work with, rotating and cropping out the dog toy and then creating an effect of either b&w or sepia in pp (post processing) may have given this an edge. The whites on the dog's face are overexposed, due to (what appears to be) the flash - again, effects in pp may have 'hidden' that.

a very cute family album shot - there is odd lighting and/or a vignette
