3 - Background not enhancing Mimbi, but mainly it is Mimbi's left eye - like this just makes a 'weird' image. Sharper and variation in composition/framing, likely have helped.

5 - Perhaps a little 'groom' would have given this an edge, unless you were going for the 'ungroomed' look. Background color not bringing the coat pattern and color out as much as a variation may have, also some grain/noise visible.

7 - Like the close crop and bell element. Not sure the background, color primarily, complements the cat's color as well as a variation may have. Biggest thing in my opinion in this shot is the eyes and overall 'feel' perhaps due to pp - seems unnatural. Likely just 'personal taste' though. Blown areas too, but fairly minor - but again, perhaps you were going for that. Up to 7 from 6.

8 - Very nice. Like the perspective. The 'smooth' finish to this works well, in my opinion. Perhaps a little more width and the background more subtle, to let the cat dominate more, but minor. Could just be visual, but looks like it needs a nudge rotate up on the left to 'straighten' - maybe.
