| 11/09/2005 10:07:33 AM | Autumn Flowby neokaitigerComment: this is a good photo, it shows a begining a middle and an end, like a story thats what landscape is all about i love the color of the trees.
if you would have used a slow shutter speed the water would look soft and gentle instead of mean and rough, the white border should have been black it would have brang out the color of the sky and trees better,

but i feel that its too close, all bunched up in the frame, if it were drawn out more like a story telling picture a beginin a middle and an end this photo would be much better. the dust spots you cant edit in basic editing but you might want to get your sensor cleaned.

Color: the color in your photograph is good i really like the blues and green mixed with the bokah, the brown and white on the branch gives it texture,
Composition: I think that you centered this photo well, and if that is really fishing string, this is a good macro, because that fishing string looks thick, whoever it was must be trying to catch a whale,
DOF: DOF is great, i love the bokah, some people are bokah and some arent, its the tast of the photographer. great texture on the branch and the fishing string,
Levels: The levels are good, seems to be even throughout the picture, its not over or underexposed, good,
Overall: I think you went creative with this photo, which is good, the problem with dpc is that its hard to show what you are trying to capture to the community, overall i like your photograph,
good job, and keep shooting, | Photographer found comment helpful. |

Composition: I think the picture is centered well, but you could have gotten a different angle, maybe you did on your out takes, the pillars and the stairs are straight, thats good,
Color: the leves seem to be a little dark, and the right top of the building is a little blow out.
Detail: Great detail i can see the figures and read the writing on the building
My opinion: I think this is a good branch idea, part of the three branches of goverment we adhere to, it could have been a bit brighter, what would have been really cool is if you did it when the shaddows of the pillars were showing to the left or the right, over all this is a good shot,
keep shooting | Photographer found comment helpful. |

The first thing that I notice in this photograph is the waterfall, which is good, although the challenge was branch, your DOF is to small, you could have gone with a wider open DOF maybe 5.6 or so, this would give it focus from front to back, what i think happend here is you wanted the cotton candy effect for the water fall, so you used a slow shutter speed, but the wind was blowing which resulted in the leave being out of focus.
The color is good, i love the green
The border is a good touch
overall your photograph is a good shot, would be much better if the leaves were in focus,
Keep shooting, |
