When I thought of a "branch" subject, the first thing came to mind was a fishing lure/hook caught in one.. I went to a local lake and lucky for me I found what I was looking for...Hope you enjoy it...

don't you just hate it when this happens?

Color: the color in your photograph is good i really like the blues and green mixed with the bokah, the brown and white on the branch gives it texture,

Composition: I think that you centered this photo well, and if that is really fishing string, this is a good macro, because that fishing string looks thick, whoever it was must be trying to catch a whale,

DOF: DOF is great, i love the bokah, some people are bokah and some arent, its the tast of the photographer. great texture on the branch and the fishing string,

Levels: The levels are good, seems to be even throughout the picture, its not over or underexposed, good,

Overall: I think you went creative with this photo, which is good, the problem with dpc is that its hard to show what you are trying to capture to the community, overall i like your photograph,
good job, and keep shooting,

Creative, but it's just not doing it for me. It looks really staged. Nice color, though.

Strong from on the branch, and good use of line to break it up and add interest, but the crop is too tight and makes it upclear what's attached to the branch.

technically a good photo, just feel like its missing some context. i like the way you've abstracted the leaves in the background with a nice solid blue sky background. just not sure what this hose\black device is supposed to be used for.

LOL I hate it when that happens. I hate it even more when the branch wins! Great shot.

In focus, good use of color. Good depth of field. That black thing on the right gave me problems though, kinda looks like a dildo. It's probably a piece of fishing equipment that I am not familiar with. (Don't fish) I think it warrents a high placing, but I don't think it's top 10 material. 7

Interesting perspective and subject material. Even the lines and the colors in the bokeh compliment the photo. Nice.
