I think it works well for the subject - although I'd like to see a human in there for some life and DOF. And As someone who works in printing I can tell you not to add a white border to the perimeter of a book - the chance of it being trimmed in such a way that is looks perfect is very unlikely =) 7

I think the time of day hasn't revealed quite the same dramatic shadows but the wavy cloud/mountain feeling is quite similar.

double-take: just realized how much this is a carbon-copy of the original - and I in fact prefer this version. Obviously this is the same location form the same vantage point. The wider lens seems to have significantly more distortion but doesn't bother me.

spectacular clarity and punch. The composition and lines - heart-pounding. If anything, maybe a bit too much image on the bottom but certainly doesn't take away from the excellence. 9

A fantastic tribute. Obviously a lot of effort went into making this very very similar to the original.
My only minor critical comments would be; it feels like it needs a very slight rotation counter-clockwise; and it it a bit too clean (noiseless). Still worthy of an 8 of course.
