Yeah... so... this son came home mid-week to work from home tomorrow. He was falling asleep on the sofa when I asked him to model.

He's a trouper!

But then... we needed someone to hold the feathers for him. Obviously, he couldn't see where they needed to be.

So... Youngest Son got the job (he's home from college for the summer). I asked Son in the Photo to open his legs so Youngest Son could kneel between them, and lean in with the feathers.

"Get closer", said I.

You can imagine how much love they gave me. LOL!

I think Youngest Son is even MORE of a trouper! LOL!

I love my kiddos!

They do so much for me! But... I bought them dinner out.

And... I turned the A/C down a notch for them. That was part of the deal.

I'm a miser. :D

These are peacock feathers from Mr. Peacock... a transient we had visit us often when we lived in Florida. He used to come and eat with our chickens every morning and evening.

It was pretty funny.

He left his feathers for us sometimes... We collected them and they sit in a bunch in our house now... ten years later.

I wish you could have seen this son reaching for towel and rubbing his face after both sessions. Apparently, having peacock feathers rubbing on your face is itchy.

Who knew?! LOL!

P.S. I've cut This Son's hair for him (and my hubby and our other two boys) since he was a baby (well, not my hubby since he was a baby... but since our babies were babies and we had no money for haircuts. *grin*) So... that "peacock thing" going on in the rear is my fault. :D

I laughed when I saw it.

Ha! Lydia, you're a nut. And your kids are amazingly patient with this, ahem, "problem" that you have called DPC.... His expression really does match the "eyes"!

Fabulous concept, great composition for the idea, not so keen on the processing, but nontheless, a pretty cool entry.
