isolation of the closeup creates some amount of abstraction, yes the sharpen could be upped to create more clarity but maybe less abstraction. I must have been weary, for me this studio backlight has only a little of your divinity - v: 5. Excellent composition & crop.

A good entry for this challenge..... Exhibits a interesting capture of a physical attribute of the bird in flight. Motion in the water and on the bird portray a natural optical effect that develops a enjoyable rendering for this subject. I voted 7 for plenty of canvas space & subtle overall contrast in the water w/ beautiful shadow/reflection under the soft but appropriately defined dark bird.
