Would have scored this higher in the upcoming fauna challenge. Good photo...beautiful horse. It's well focused and nicely framed. Could be just a tad lighter. Just doesn't meet the challenge. Too much of a stretch.

Duck shows a lot of attitude! Obviously being wind blown. Focus is good. It's just a bit dark. Could use some adjustments for improvment.

Ended up with a colorful abstract photo. I probably would have cropped off the drabby top and right side of the photo. Otherwise, nice.

Escaping the Heat

This is one shot that should have been saved for the fauna challenge. It's such a cute and well done photo. You are really stretching by trying to fit this picture into this challenge. I would have voted a 10 had it been in the fauna challenge. That's how good this one is. DOF is great and the expression on the squirrel's face is priceless.

Fog

Very, very nice shot. I don't particularily like the bold border around the picture. It takes away from the haziness of the subject. Fog should go on and on. Should have been a lighter color, much thinner, or no border at all.
