Nice use of wide angle. Found the subject to be generally too busy. The centering of the mailboxes also cause the image to be too split in half. I do like the way the sky looks, though, and the contrast of the mailboxes was pretty good.

I think this image would have been much better without the trees or hill in the background. Get closer, take several angles and find the best section of the image. Your color treatment matched well with your subject. 6

Excellent range of textures on this one, as well as good patterns all around. Like the blue tone of this one, too. Just a bit overblown under the lights, but not a big issue when you have such a strong image compositionally. 9

Well, the contrast is nice on the image. The patterns in the background give it a bit of a tonal range. I found the image to be kind of boring, though. Just want to encourage you to think about what you are shooting, and asking yourself if it is interesting to a large amount of folks.

Very nice contrast and detail on the wing feathers. A little less centering of the strip the birds are on may have created less static with the image. 8

Hard Water

This could have done with more contrast, though it is hard to do when we are not allowed to dodge and burn. It needed a sharper focus too so the detail of the icy branch could have shown better. Maybe taking at a differenct time of day would have added the crispness this image needs. Still, the attempt was a good one. Keep on trying. These snowscapes are worth the effort when you finally get that perfect shot.
