Greetings from the critique club :)
Now this is going to be short and easy as there is pretty much nothing constructive or bad I feel I can say about this photo, you are one of my favorite photographers here and photos like this is one of the reasons. I really like this one, I would probably have given it a 7 if I had voted. It´s composed well, got a lovely tonal range, very serene scene and captured very well.
Still not the best that I have seen from you but I am not at all surprised it did so well in the challenge. Only to nitpick, the sky somehow isn´t awesome and I would have cropped out the white stuff in the lower right corner but other than that, very very good on all accounts. A photo I would have been proud to have taken myself.
As for meeting the challenge, dead on and absolutely. A worthy top 10 photo.

| A moon-like photograph... very impressive for a basic editing challenge, but some strange stuff going on. The shades are very funky (likeable funky) but there's one thing baffling me: there's something in the sky that looks like it could be the moon, and if it is, it's reflection in the water ~in front of the mountain~ seems kinda irrational. Well, either that, or you've got some neatly aligned dust particles on your sensor. Or, the third possibility, this is an orb hovering over the lake in low altitude and on this side of the mountain. Oh, and next time consider cropping out that little edge in the lower right hand corner. |

Þetta minnir frænda þinn á fjöllin í Ólafsfirði.
Truflar mig aðeins að það er auka speglun á tunglinu í vatninu. Einnig sést aðeins í land í hægra horninu niðri. Mætti hverfa eða sjást meira. |

| Has a certain surrealism - almost like an invented landscape. Once noticed, the tiny bit of land bottom right is an annoyance for me, and leads me to think that a crop from the bottom mightn't have been a bad thing overall, and might also have balanced the composition a little more solidly. Excellent tones from a basic challenge. |
