This could have done with more contrast, though it is hard to do when we are not allowed to dodge and burn. It needed a sharper focus too so the detail of the icy branch could have shown better. Maybe taking at a differenct time of day would have added the crispness this image needs. Still, the attempt was a good one. Keep on trying. These snowscapes are worth the effort when you finally get that perfect shot. |

This is a very nice shot that would be made even nicer (in my humble opinion) if you used a cooler tone... the sepia always suggest warmth to me .. it is good to use something in the foreground to bring depth to the photo but in this case, the branches are taking away from the texture and the composition of the snow/ice |

Very nice tones. Looks golden. The subject matter is quite interesting as well. |

Interesting photo, the composition doesn't really help the image and the sharpness isn't there to help the viewer either |
