Green hairstreakby rsaulyteComment: Love the detail on the antennae and legs. I did not know there was such a butterfly as a green hairstreak. Our hairstreaks around here aren't as colorful. Anyway, the colors are wonderfully light on this one, which works for this subject. Would like to see a bit more detail on the butterfly. Your dof may have been to shallow. |

HUMMERby JPRComment: Interesting technique. It looks as if you dodged and burned around the outlines of the people. Creates almost an aura look. Could this work using colors as your edging? Going with the aura idea, you could create one fabulous piece here. Like the concept of your composition. |

CRW_1329 copy.jpgby biggisComment: I found the image seemed too dark. Black and white was definitely the choice for this shot, and the contrast was very good. |

A Tiger's Beautyby L1Comment: She's beautiful and she knows it. What a nice self assured stance. Your detail is really clean on this one. |

DSC_3094web.jpgby trnqltyComment: Nice pose. Looks very much like a great teen shot for some of the catalogues which show teen clothes. I am not sure I like the brick background. It seems that the color is competing with the gorgeous pink of the shirt. Have you considered taking the background and making it black and white, and leaving the person in color? Might make for a nice contrast. |

Urban Geeseby PrismComment: Definitely spend a few hours trying to capture the best shots of these fellas. I like the fact that they are in motion, and you did a nice job of that. I don't care so much for the background grass. I think a shallow dof, or spot blurring to remove the detail of it would really help this composition a lot as it stands. |

Eat-wellby taterbugComment: I think you may have used too much magenta toning in the image. It looks as if the girl is pressing her lips together to do anything but eat the right stuff. I also like the detail on the board behind the two gals. |

IMG_4838.JPGby alpharichComment: I love the toning of the pool of water on this one. That lovely burgundy bottom reminds me of a place in my state called Chatfield Hollow. Something about the color of the sand makes it have that unique color. |

Fluidby SJCarterComment: Definitely a wonderful liquidity to the image. It could be one of those fantasy posters. Add a unicorn and you got a wonderfully marketable product. (I know this because I sell prints for a living, along with frames for those prints.) |
