PAD B&W Day 2 Untitledby noranekoComment: I like the tones on the image. I don't particularly like the grain, though. It doesn't create a pleasing halo in the hair. The strands on the top of the head are especially distracting and pull down what could be a very strong and beautiful image. |

Day 2 - Raindropsby ArtysteComment: Lovely and moody. Maybe a bit more definition in the raindrops would really create an even better composition. Your light, which just glances across the surface, really makes the image sing. |

Day 1 - Scratchby JutildaComment: Very sweet. Highlights could use more detail,though. Still,t hat is one very cute face. |

Bridge in the Park.jpgby dsternerComment: Your blacks are really black, which is good. Needs a bit more highlight and graduated midtones to make a great b&w. Not sure this one really lends itself to that. Still, composition is very nice and the gates at the front have the best tonal quality for b&w. |

Castle Hill for Editingby CapeSailComment: I can see this as a black and white right from the image, without even looking at the black and white. You have chosen perfect conditions to get contrasts in conversion. It needs to be low contrast with few shadows. I find that when I take pictures in color, the best ones to convert are ones just like this. |

Sanctuaryby JunieMoonComment: Ezekiel 45:1-9
God promises a sanctuary
The word of the Lord came to me:
O mortal, how does the wood of the vine surpass all other wood -
the vine branch that is among the trees of the forest?
Is wood taken from it to make anything?
Does one take a peg from it on which to hang any object?
It is put in the fire for fuel;
when the fire has consumed both ends of it
and the middle of it is charred,
is it useful for anything? |

Day 2 - Entranceby meneleComment: Why do church entrances always seem so creepy sometimes. Love the low key on this one. The detail of the iron work is very understated which adds to the dark mood. |
